A very comfortable cottage in a lovely situation. Great views from the lounge and when sitting in the summerhouse. Spotlessly clean with everything you could need for a self- catering holiday.

Absolutely brilliant . Perfect stay . Lovely position and everything we needed The cottage was in a real beauty spot and there were walks on your doorstep . The Isle of Mull is beautiful too . Our trips to many of the beautiful beaches , Staffa and Iona just made never want to leave .

The warmest, cosiest, well equipped cottage we have ever stayed at. Our first visit to the Isle of Mull and Heather Cottage was the perfect base for a week of exploring and walking. The external photo of the cottage gives you no sense of the quality of the inside...superbly equipped, comfortable and modern interior, and always warm thanks to the electric heating system. Wonderful views whilst you are cooking or washing up and a summer house in the garden. Location is great for visiting Iona and boat trip to Staffa (Fingals Cave)

Heather Cottage is set back from a minor road and lies 300 yards from a rocky shoreline on the Bremenvoir croft. This remote area of Mull is a haven for wildlife with many species inhabiting or visiting the garden and adjoining land. It has a peaceful environment and dramatic scenery. Visitors love the sandy beaches nearby.
Heather Cottage is a traditional building which has been modernised but retains the character of the original features. All rooms are on the ground floor. The cottage and adjacent summerhouse have spectacular views to the Burg and Loch Scridain.The cottage is ideally situated for the ferry over to the Isle of Iona, just a fifteen minute drive. Nearby you can also find cairns, standing stones and deserted villages. |
